Have to say Todd, I did not have much time before the AO final, to read about the up coming match, so
did not realise, how much hype their was to Nadel’s possible fatigue from the semi, I tend to be somewhat selective, as to who I read in the sports press, and also due to time. But can you imagine, if Nadel had lost in 4 or 5 sets, the press headlines...

Like you Todd, I had to get my thoughts together one this one before I could get anything down on the computer, after 30 odd hours, capitulation comes to mind.. As I sat down to watch the match, I was already thinking of a defence for why Nadel lost, IF, is what came to mind, if only the two semis had been played the same day,( Todd, how can it be tolerated at this level...

The mighty Russian Female Tennis Express, which could have well steam rolled ever major this year, Got derailed, big style today, by the only power that can stop Russian global domination of tennis.
This year could be, the Williams vs. The Russians... Could be some exciting stuff or could it?
This AO final was yet another dismal advent for the WTA Saffina, turn up’s with a ball and chain...

Harsh!!!
Is your backbone as strong as your wishbone, harsh words in that post Sue, is tennis worth your life? I had heat stoke once, and once was more then enough for me.. Its something that can come on very fast especially in these conditions, and physical and mental strength, do not have a lot to do with it, lets not forget that the game we love, is first and foremost an entertainment!,...
