Hi Todd and John
Due to slow connection problems in Shanghai I haven’t been able to hear last week’s podcast but I am writing to sum up the ATP Masters Cup for 2008.
I was pleased to see Novak Djokovic win in the final after Andy Murray went out in the semi-final. Novak was back to his old form again after only showing glimpses during the week.

Hi Todd (and John if you’re back on air)
The stadium is very impressive with great views. Fortunately the roof is closed for this tournament - next year Shanghai will be holding an outdoor ATP 1000 tournament in October – they are building two new stadia (5,000 seats and 2,000 seats).

Hi Todd
As mentioned in my email back in August, I am attending the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai this year. This is the second time I have been to the ATP Tour Finals, the previous one being in 1998 in Hannover,Germany when both Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski played (one as an replacement for an injured player).

Well it certainly was a rollercoaster ride for Andy Murray supporters at the US Open this year. After an easy first round the matches against Llodra and Meltzer were hard work and Murray was close to going out against Meltzer. His second serve seemed to be a big problem but then against Wawrinka he was imperious and surprised us with the ease of his win.
