Title: Hawk-Eye
Date: Monday, August 25, 2008
As a follow up to rightyrafa's email about Hawk-Eye having a margin of error and changing matches, all I can say is that if the margin of error is consistent at both ends of the courts on all of the Hawk-Eye courts, and the players agree to its use, then I'm okay with it. Smoke billows out of Sharapova’s again-insured shoulder, evidence of a detonation from a poor service motion? Or perhaps a chronic wear-and-tear war injury? Kutznetsova’s power and net game now is 4 years in the past, replaced by an ineffective spinning game that leaves Sveta like a tank stuck in mud. Nothing-Left-In-The-Tank Jank has...
